i believe sometimes you hear the Lord telling you to just hold on. just be patient. and just wait.
other times i believe you can hear him tell you that now is the time to walk away. and walking away is usually not the easiest thing.
i have recently felt the tug of my spirit telling me it's time to surrender some of my biggest hopes and dreams because what i had planned for my life isn't what the Lord has planned for my life.
and besides ... this life isn't about my anyways. His ways are greater.
so now i'll do the painstakingly hard task of surrendering things of my heart. little by little i feel confident i will get to the place to where it won't hurt anymore and i'll see a beautiful plan revealed to me.
these words are just to encourage you as perhaps you are doing the same thing ... in any aspect of your life. if you're in the process of releasing the death grip you have on some things i just want you to know that i understand that it's hard but i also KNOW that the Lord is bigger than the hurt and the pain.
my faith will guide me through. i have nothing to fear. YOU have nothing to fear!

Remains the same. We do tend to forget that
