what day is it again?

last time i looked at my calendar it was august 8th and this morning when i woke up it was august 22. well ... not really but it sure does seem like the time has flown by. so much as gone on in such a short amount of time. 

the olympics started which had me up 'till the wee hours of the morning watching to see who would walk away with the gold. many of my friends here found themselves as groggy in the mornings as i was due to the games. i didn't think i'd get into them, but i found a great love for it all. i'm sad it will be over soon. 

i made a wonderful trip home to help my mother with the Basic Training breakfast at FBC for the BSU (ahh, gotta love acronyms). i was also home to be able to attend eliza kate's 3rd birthday party! speaking of time ... where did the last 3 years go? woah. 

work has been fantastic. lots of fun things going on. i'm growing with the job and learning new things all the time. God always sees us through!!
