Friends

Something I've learned over the years, about friends, is that you don't have to see them on a regular basis to remain close with them. The amount of time you spend with your friends shouldn't dictate how much love there is in the friendship. I'm thankful to have a group of friends, that I don't get to see as often as I'd like, but who love me unconditionally.

These sweet friends threw me a 30th birthday party last week that was custom made for me. They went all out and planned a little surprise for me that included a homemade sit down dinner, that had a classy NASCAR theme (yes there is such a thing). They even had a NASCAR cake made for me. I was as giddy as I've ever been. It really means a lot when people know you well enough to do something so special and perfect for you.

The evening was so special and it just made me realize how important friends are, no matter how often you see them.
